About The Position

The Creature Comforts Animal Emergency Clinic is a new addition to the Creature Comforts Veterinary Resorts and Suites in Inman, SC. This clinic aims to be a trusted partner in the lives of pets while offering the highest in quality of innovative medicine for pets experiencing urgent medical situations. The clinic's hours of operation are Monday - Thursday: 5 pm - 12 am midnight, and Friday - Monday: 24 hours. The Veterinary Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative, able to put themselves in customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary. They should be confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don't have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Customer-oriented service representative
  • Patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative
  • Able to put themselves in customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary
  • Confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don't have enough information to resolve customer complaints
  • Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred, but not required
  • Compassionate and calm team-player
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
  • Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
