About The Position

Creature Comforts Animal Emergency Clinic is a new addition to the Creature Comforts Veterinary Resorts and Suites in Inman, SC. CCVRS has united some of the finest talent in the Upstate area for Veterinary Care, and we are excited to extend our reach to include Emergency Services! Our new hospital teams aims to be a trusted partner in the lives of pets while offering the highest in quality of innovative medicine for pets experiencing urgent medical situations. Our hours of operation are: Monday - Thursday: 5 pm - 12 am midnight, Friday - Monday: 24 hours.

Requirements

  • Customer-oriented service representative
  • Act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency
  • Patient, empathetic and passionately communicative
  • Confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints
  • Ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Experienced Receptionist or Customer Service Representative with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred, but not required
  • Compassionate and calm team-player
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
  • Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases

  • 1-year veterinary experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
  • Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
