About The Position

Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Customer Service Representative in Grass Valley, California. The representative serves as the first and last point of contact for clients and patients, helping create a welcoming, compassionate, and professional experience. The role supports communication between clients, doctors, and hospital staff, along with reception, administrative, and general office operations. The position offers a four-day work week consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with no weekends. Pay is $17–$21 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain professional and focused in a busy environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous veterinary receptionist experience.
• Administrative assistant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer phones and coordinate appointments efficiently.
• Serve as the communication hub between clients, doctors, and hospital staff.
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction.
• Support front desk operations and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with general office duties and basic housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
