About The Position
Veterinary Care and Specialty Group (VCSG) in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking a Relief/Locum Criticalist to join their team from September through December 2026. They are open to full coverage during this period or candidates interested in covering specific date ranges to assist during maternity leave. This role is ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained criticalist who wants to practice high-level medicine in a collaborative specialty hospital with the flexibility of a short-term relief position. VCSG is a leading specialty and emergency hospital in the Southeast, providing 24/7 care and a wide range of specialty services. The critical care service is well-integrated, with specialists collaborating closely for exceptional patient care. The position offers access to advanced equipment and resources, including MRI, CT, ventilator support, ultrasound, digital radiology, an on-site blood bank, and a dedicated team of technicians and specialists.
