About The Position

The Veterinary Care and Specialty Group is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Criticalist to join their dynamic team as they expand to become the premier small-animal hospital in the Southeast. The hospital offers comprehensive specialty services and is distinguished by its exceptional team of over 100 individuals. The critical care department's input is actively sought out and valued by other departments within the hospital. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including ultrasound, digital radiology, CT scanning, an in-house 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128-slice CT scanner, C-arm, high-flow oxygen ventilation, long-term ventilator, and an onsite blood bank. The Cancer Center features a new Varian 2024 Edge Linear Accelerator. The group fosters a collaborative and people-oriented environment with a focus on learning and development, including a rotating internship program and a residency program in surgery. Requirements

DVM or equivalent degree.
Board certification or residency training in critical care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
