About The Position

Veterinary Care and Specialty Group is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Criticalist to join their dynamic team. The group aims to be the premier small-animal hospital in the Southeast, offering comprehensive specialty services with a team of over 100 individuals. Their mission is to provide compassionate, advanced referral and emergency veterinary care. The facility is state-of-the-art, equipped with cutting-edge technology including ultrasound, digital radiology, CT scanning, advanced laboratory resources, an in-house 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128-slice CT scanner, C-arm, high-flow oxygen ventilation, long-term ventilator, and an onsite blood bank. The Cancer Center is a hub for medical and radiation oncology, featuring a Varian 2024 Edge Linear Accelerator. The environment is collaborative, with a people-oriented team that values mentorship, continuing education, and career growth, supported by a rotating internship and residency program in surgery. Requirements

DVM or equivalent degree.
Board certification or residency training in critical care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in team-oriented environments.
Enjoy the ability to fully work up and treat a broad range of challenging cases.
