About The Position

VCA Westlake Village Animal Hospital in Westlake Village, CA is seeking an extraordinary Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team full-time. Pay Range (based on experience): $20.50 - $22.00/hour Position Overview: As a CSR, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients - whether on the phone, at the front desk, or online. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and patients, from check-in to check-out, while supporting our veterinary team with scheduling, communication, and medical record maintenance. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or CSR (preferred)
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and common procedures
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • A calm, compassionate demeanor and team-focused attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience handling client conflict or end-of-life support
  • Understanding of basic veterinary treatments or medications

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and compassionately in person and over the phone
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar efficiently
  • Process payments, invoices, and estimates
  • Maintain accurate and organized medical records
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with client education
  • Handle emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
