About The Position

Clarksville Veterinary Specialists & Animal Emergency (CVES) is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an animal lover with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment while supporting clients, patients, and medical teams. CVES is a specialty and emergency veterinary hospital located in Clarksville, TN. Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, teammates, and medical staff
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to adapt to changing hospital needs
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging client interactions
  • Flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

  • Veterinary or medical reception experience preferred
  • Passion for providing excellent service to pets, clients, and veterinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, assist with paperwork, and provide guidance throughout their visit.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through email communication.
  • Manage administrative tasks including data entry, appointment scheduling, and medical record updates.
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information.
  • Support hospital communication by managing faxes, emails, and incoming requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment.
  • Manage financial processes including maintaining the cash drawer and assisting with client transactions.
  • Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with veterinary team members to support efficient hospital operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve client and patient experiences.
  • Assist with on-call duties after successful completion of training.
  • Participate in weekend anesthesia on-call and specialty weekend scheduling requirements.
