Nice To Haves

Previous veterinary reception experience preferred
Medical reception experience considered
Experience with veterinary practice software is a plus
Basic knowledge of veterinary preventive care, vaccines, and wellness services is helpful

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments efficiently
Obtain and accurately document patient histories and client information
Verify vaccination and testing records
Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with the medical team
Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions
Assist clients with prescription diets, flea and tick preventatives, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian
Maintain accurate patient records within veterinary software systems
Support daily hospital operations and help ensure a smooth client experience
Deliver a hospitality-focused experience that exceeds client expectations
