About The Position

VERG Brooklyn is looking for a compassionate and dependable Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our Brooklyn team. As one of the first people our clients meet, you’ll help pet owners feel welcomed, informed, and cared for while their pets receive emergency or specialty treatment. If you’re someone who can make people feel supported during stressful moments, your work can make a real difference at VERG Brooklyn. This is more than a front desk position. You’ll be an important connection between our clients and medical teams, helping each hospital visit run as smoothly as possible.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
Confidence handling challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
Basic computer skills, including experience with Word, Outlook, and office management software

Nice To Haves

Veterinary experience
Familiarity with Instinct

Responsibilities

Check patients in and out
Answer phones
Schedule appointments
Process payments
Help keep communication flowing between clients and the medical team
Provide friendly and compassionate customer service
Address client concerns with patience and empathy
Discuss estimates, payment options, and hospital policies
Process invoices and payments and complete end-of-day reports
Communicate with clients by phone, email, text, or app
Help maintain a clean and organized front desk
Support administrative tasks, such as accounts receivable, patient reminders, or social media
Assist with other tasks that support the hospital and team
