Veterinary Care Coordinator - Specialty Surgery
About The Position
Friendship Hospital for Animals, an AAHA-accredited hospital in Washington, D.C., is seeking a detail-oriented Veterinary Care Coordinator to support its Specialty Surgery team. The coordinator assists the medical team with procedure scheduling and patient admissions, ensures administrative paperwork is completed and accounted for—including vitals, lab work, and consent forms—and maintains detailed, accurate records. The role also helps maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, is highly detail-oriented, and has veterinary hospital experience in a client-facing role and a good understanding of general surgical procedures. This is a full-time role consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week. Weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts are not required. Requirements
