About The Position

The Neurology Veterinary Assistant works alongside Veterinary Technicians and Board-Certified Neurologists to provide advanced, compassionate care for patients with complex neurological conditions. The role supports neurological exams and procedures, advanced diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, treatment administration, and client education. The assistant maintains detailed medical records and collaborates with specialists across departments to deliver attentive patient care.

This is a full-time position with four 10-hour weekday shifts. An example schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Some holidays are required. Compensation is $25–$33 per hour based on experience and credentials, with a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 based on experience and credentials.

Requirements

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty or neurology experience preferred.
• Experience with EzyVet or SmartFlow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with neurological exams and procedures.
• Support MRI, CT, radiology, neurosurgery, and advanced diagnostics.
• Monitor anesthesia and administer treatments.
• Educate and support clients throughout their pet's care journey.
• Maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple departments.
• Deliver patient care with skill, empathy, and attention to detail.
