About The Position

Pieper Veterinary is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant for its Emergency team at its VECCS Level 1 Certified Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut. The position is scheduled four days per week, with 10-hour shifts, and requires working holidays. Pay is $19.50–$22.50 per hour based on experience, plus a shift differential.

The Veterinary Assistant supports emergency procedures, helps keep treatment areas stocked and ready, performs basic laboratory tasks, communicates compassionately with pet parents, and works with emergency technicians and doctors. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced setting and able to stay organized while handling multiple tasks.

Requirements
