About The Position
Red Hill Animal Health Center is looking to add two Veterinary Assistants to their team. They are an AAHA-accredited, 2½-doctor small animal practice located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The practice is willing to train candidates who are passionate about animal care, client service, and teamwork. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn, enjoy fast-paced environments, and want to build a rewarding career in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Safely restrain patients for examinations and treatments
- Learn veterinary medical terminology, vaccine schedules, and treatment protocols
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient care
- Support patient treatments and nursing care as directed by veterinarians and technicians
- Maintain clean and organized treatment, exam, and hospital areas
- Provide exceptional client service and communication
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient patient and client care throughout the day
- Assist with general hospital duties and workflow as needed
