About The Position

Kessen Veterinary Clinic is a progressive mixed-animal practice in Delphos, Ohio, serving companion animals and horses in surrounding communities. The role involves working with horses in clinic and field settings and may also involve dogs and cats. Requirements

Experience as a veterinary assistant, equine veterinary assistant, or in an equine care setting is preferred.
Comfort handling and safely restraining horses in clinic and field settings.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with dogs and cats.
Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures, medical terminology, and animal husbandry.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
