About The Position
Wateree Animal Hospital is seeking a Vet Tech - Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians in providing care and treatment to animal patients. The role includes supporting surgery, monitoring patient recovery, maintaining detailed medical records, and helping pet owners understand treatment plans. The assistant is expected to multitask, remain calm, communicate clearly, and provide compassionate care while working alongside veterinary professionals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience in an animal hospital.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and multitasking skills.
- Empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
