About The Position

VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team. This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts per week.

Requirements

Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
Ability to work overnight shifts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Nice To Haves

Experience in emergency and critical care.
Familiarity with VCA's systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians in the emergency and critical care setting.
Provide compassionate care to patients.
Perform various technical skills as directed.
