Requirements
- At least 1 year of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
- Experience rooming patients.
- Surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used.
- Experience drawing blood and running bloodwork.
- Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning.
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
- Passion for working with animals and their owners.
- Understanding of the importance of client education.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and a positive team player.
Responsibilities
- Room patients.
- Assist with surgery and use relevant equipment.
- Draw blood and run bloodwork.
- Assist with x-rays and proper patient positioning.
