About The Position

Veterinary Assistant at VCA Marshall Animal Hospital. This is a full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling available. At VCA Marshall Animal Hospital, we provide high-quality veterinary care, including preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and compassionate client service. Requirements

• Veterinary Assistant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for patient care and client service

Responsibilities

• Restrain and safely handle pets for exams and treatments
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
• Assist doctors and technicians with appointments and procedures
• Collect patient histories and support client communication
• Feed, walk, and monitor hospitalized pets
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
• Sterilize instruments and prepare surgical packs
• Assist with laboratory samples and diagnostics
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and clients every day
