About The Position

Sequist Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary assistant and customer service team member to join our team! A positive, team player attitude, with excellent communication skills, is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, understands the importance of client education, feels comfortable working with other assistants, technicians and veterinarians, takes pride in a clean and organized animal hospital, and is a positive and supportive team player. A willingness to adapt adjusting to shared responsibilities of patient care and front desk duties. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant preferred
  • Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Phone etiquette
