About The Position

Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital is seeking a veterinarian to join its 24-hour, full-service, multi-doctor team in Tallahassee, Florida. The role may focus on swing-shift emergency medicine, daytime urgent care, or a combination, with scheduling options discussed according to the veterinarian’s interests and the hospital’s needs. The veterinarian will evaluate and treat a broad range of patients, including urgent, non-life-threatening conditions, same-day sick visits, emergency cases, and more complex medical or surgical presentations. Swing-shift veterinarians help bridge daytime appointments and overnight emergency care, while urgent care focuses on patients needing timely medical attention. The hospital offers a collaborative team, mentorship, professional development, advanced technology and diagnostics, and support for exotic patients. There is no on-call requirement.

Requirements

Veterinarian; veterinarians of all experience levels are considered.

Responsibilities
