About The Position
Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital is seeking a full-time emergency veterinarian to join its 24-hour, full-service, multi-doctor emergency team in Tallahassee, Florida. The opportunity is focused primarily on daytime emergency medicine, with the possibility of discussing daytime, swing-shift, overnight, or urgent care schedules based on the veterinarian’s interests and availability and the hospital’s needs. The veterinarian will handle varied cases, including urgent care visits, unexpected illnesses, complex medical cases, and surgical emergencies. They will collaborate with experienced emergency colleagues and skilled technicians and support staff in a fast-paced clinical environment. The hospital offers advanced diagnostics and modern technology, including support for exotic patients, and encourages mentorship, continued learning, and professional development. Scheduling options include block scheduling, and there is no on-call requirement.
