About The Position
Loving Care Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animals, including cats and dogs. This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor who is not only looking to practice high-quality medicine but is also interested in growing into a Medical Director and potential partner role. The hospital has been serving the Palatine community for over 25 years and is known for providing compassionate, gold-standard veterinary care. As a full-service hospital, they care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, including reptiles, birds, and small mammals, offering doctors a diverse and rewarding caseload. Services include preventive and wellness care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care, all supported by a modern, well-equipped facility with same-day appointment availability. The team is highly collaborative, long-tenured, and supported by empowered technicians who allow doctors to focus on practicing exceptional medicine and building meaningful client relationships. The hospital is seeking an experienced small-animal veterinarian who is confident in practicing high-quality general medicine and performing routine soft-tissue surgery. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor interested in advancing to a Medical Director role and exploring future partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college
- Active veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one) in the state of Illinois
- Experienced small-animal veterinarian
- Confident in practicing high-quality general medicine
- Confident in performing routine soft-tissue surgery
Nice To Haves
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
