Veterinarian, Partner & Equity Owner
About The Position
PriorityPet is seeking entrepreneurial veterinarians to partner with the company as Medical Directors and equity owners of new urgent care practices. The company will build a brand-new practice in a location selected by the veterinarian, provide state-of-the-art equipment and business support, and offer ownership/equity with no out-of-pocket cost. The Medical Director will lead the hospital and help shape its culture while maintaining medical autonomy. PriorityPet describes its mission as improving pet health and wellness in local communities, with a culture guided by Passion, Engagement, Trust, and Service. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $220,000, with the amount depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and compensation structure. The role offers competitive compensation and performance bonuses, benefits and assistance programs, flexible scheduling, and no overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license.
- At least 3 years of veterinarian experience.
- Current DEA license and USDA accreditation, or obtain them upon hire.
- Compassionate leadership experience and willingness to manage a team and promote a positive clinic culture.
- Effective communication skills and a drive to provide high-quality medicine and mentor other veterinarians.
