Senior Channel Partner Manager | Private Equity

Ramp•New York, NY
•$194,000 - $297,000•Onsite

About The Position

Ramp is building its Private Equity channel into a major source of enterprise growth. The Senior Channel Partner Manager will own relationships with some of Ramp’s largest and most strategic private equity firms, helping translate access to sponsors and their operating teams into measurable adoption across portfolio companies. The role involves managing complex relationships across investment strategies, fund vehicles, operating partners, deal teams, portfolio operations leaders, and portfolio-company CFOs. This is a high-volume, high-stakes commercial role with the channel team’s highest CP goal and significant executive visibility. The manager will identify portfolio opportunities, develop qualified pipeline, negotiate partnership structures, coordinate partner-facing programs, and maintain a rigorous operating system for managing a large book. The role also uses AI-driven workflows to scale research and relationship management. Frequent travel and work from Ramp’s New York office are expected; candidates in Connecticut or New Jersey may also be considered with an in-office commitment, and relocation is an option.

Requirements

  • Track record of carrying and achieving a high quota in a commercial role; outbound sales development, account executive, or partnerships experience is relevant.
  • Deep working knowledge of private equity firm structures, including operating partners, deal teams, and portfolio leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and expand relationships across large, complex organizations.
  • Exceptional organization and agency, including experience managing a large book, following up continually, and navigating complex organizations.
  • Comfort negotiating directly with sophisticated counterparts and sound judgment about when to walk away.
  • Practical, self-directed approach to AI, including building personal workflows rather than waiting for tools.
  • Strong cross-functional instincts and ability to work dynamically with Events, Growth, Marketing, Finance, and other internal partners.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work from Ramp’s New York office; Connecticut or New Jersey candidates may be considered with an in-office commitment.

  • Generate and own qualified pipeline against an aggressive CP target, prioritizing large opportunities.
  • Negotiate custom partnership structures, including adoption commitments, and decline terms that do not work for Ramp.
  • Partner with Events, Growth, Marketing, and Finance to deliver sponsorships, webinars, executive dinners, and requested collateral.
