About The Position

Pure Paws Veterinary Care of Clinton Hill is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their busy Brooklyn hospital. This role offers the opportunity to care for a varied mix of canine and feline patients, build lasting relationships with clients, and work alongside a collaborative team of doctors and support staff. The Clinton Hill hospital provides comprehensive care, including wellness visits, preventive care, sick appointments, and daytime urgent care. Doctors typically see 16-18 pets per day in 30-minute appointments, making it an active, appointment-driven practice. The ideal candidate enjoys a full schedule, views a dynamic caseload as a positive aspect of the job, and maintains excellent patient care and client communication. Experience in emergency or urgent care is particularly desired for those seeking daytime hours without overnight shifts or on-call duties. Experienced doctors from other clinical backgrounds who would thrive in this setting are also welcome. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, in-house diagnostics, therapeutic laser, EKG, and echocardiogram, and offers a 3:1 support-staff-to-doctor ratio.
