About The Position
Our established small-animal clinic in the heart of downtown St. Louis is searching for a full-time Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our compassionate and collaborative team. We’re passionate about delivering high-quality care to pets and exceptional service to the people who love them — and we believe in doing it all in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited AVMA institution
- Active or eligible Missouri veterinary license
- DEA/BNDD eligibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, client-focused approach and a genuine love for animals
- A collaborative spirit and a drive for continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional medical and surgical care for companion animals
- Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results
- Advise clients on preventive care, treatment options, and wellness plans
- Perform surgeries and prescribe medications as needed
- Offer compassionate end-of-life support when appropriate
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and policies
