About The Position

The Animal Foundation is seeking highly motivated Shelter Medicine Veterinarians to help us sustain our mission. This position includes both shelter medicine and surgery responsibilities, with the opportunity to tailor the role toward a stronger focus in either area based on your interests and experience. Our clinic has many of the same tools as a full-service veterinary hospital including three surgical suites, ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house blood work, and options for referral of advanced cases. We practice the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare and Fear Free Sheltering. We take in any animal that comes through our doors regardless of health, temperament, or species. We value your personal time and provide an environment that encourages you to recharge. We are seeking new graduates that would like to expand their knowledge of shelter medicine and seasoned practitioners that would like to share their knowledge.
