About The Position
Animal Medical Center San Rafael is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for their modern practice located north of San Francisco. The clinic is a spacious, 4,000 sq/ft facility with 3 exam rooms and fully equipped hospital amenities, dedicated to providing outstanding patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice focuses on small animal general practice, including soft-tissue surgeries and preventative wellness care. The team is supported by skilled technicians and assistants, fostering a culture of teamwork, client communication, and medical excellence.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.

Responsibilities
- Provide general practice soft-tissue surgeries such as spay/neuter, mass removal, laceration repair, cystotomy, gastropexy, and enucleation.
- Perform general preventative wellness care.
- Utilize in-house labs for blood and urine analysis.
- Perform in-house digital radiology and ultrasound.
- Conduct dental procedures including digital dental radiology.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians and assistants.
- Engage in client communication and education.
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the support of medical systems and the team.
