About The Position

Riverbank Animal Hospital is a modern, appointment-based clinic serving small animals across Eastern North Carolina. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care in a supportive environment with advanced technology and an experienced support team. This is a full-time Associate Veterinarian position with a focus on work-life balance, offering a 4-day work week with no weekend obligations. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7 pm. The clinic features 5 exam rooms, a full-service surgical suite, and boarding facilities, with a strong emphasis on appointment-based care for optimal patient and staff experience. After-hours emergencies are handled by local emergency hospitals. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
Active veterinary license in North Carolina.

Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals.
Utilize advanced technology and resources, including digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house diagnostics.
Manage patient care in a supportive team environment with a 3:1 tech-to-doctor ratio.
Maintain paperless medical records using Cornerstone software.
Participate in professional growth opportunities, including continuing education.
