About The Position

Harvester Veterinary Hospital of Burr Ridge is seeking a part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join their team. The role involves providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs and cats. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in Burr Ridge. The hospital is located at 807 Village Center Drive, Burr Ridge, IL 60527. The compensation is $130-$175,000+ per year annual earning potential (ProSal), with no negative accrual. A sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 is offered. Both part-time and full-time options are available. Full-time schedules are typically 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts, including 2–3 days per week from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and a minimum of every other Friday or Saturday. Employees can expect one 3-day weekend each month as part of the rotating schedule. The hospital emphasizes work-life balance with a consistent schedule, a dedicated daily lunch break from 12:30–1:30 PM, and generous PTO. There is a 2:1 tech-to-doctor ratio, with experienced technicians managing tasks beyond doctor-specific responsibilities. The facility is modern, purpose-built, and less than five years old, designed with DVM workflow, efficiency, and patient care in mind. It is located in Burr Ridge Village Center, close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college
Active Illinois veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
