About The Position
Pieper Veterinary - Madison is seeking an additional veterinarian for its thriving urgent care facility in Madison, CT. Serving the community since 2018, this urgent care provides top-notch medical care to pets with non-critical illnesses and injuries seven days a week. The facility boasts a compassionate and highly trained team, utilizing advanced technology such as in-house digital x-ray, Heska and Idexx lab machines, reference lab access, and fast-scan ultrasound. They also have a network of specialists for collaboration on complex cases. The role offers 4 shifts weekly with rotating weekends and is supported by experienced, cross-trained veterinary technicians and assistants. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Experience in urgent care or emergency veterinary medicine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work rotating weekends.
- Proficiency with in-house diagnostics (digital x-ray, lab machines, ultrasound).
