About The Position

Desert Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to join their team. This AAHA accredited hospital has been serving the Yuma community for over 30 years and is experiencing growth. The clinic offers a diverse caseload with advanced technology including a CT machine, ultrasound, and a full dental suite. They prioritize strong client relationships built on trust, compassion, stability, and communication. The successful candidate will join an excellent team of well-trained nurses and doctors.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
• Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
• Strong communication and client-education skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in general practice, surgery, exotics, or orthopedics.
• Familiarity with a busy, AAHA accredited hospital environment.
• Experience with advanced technology such as CT machines, ultrasound, and dental suites.
