About The Position

This is a dual-site leadership opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to provide clinical leadership across two small animal hospitals in Miami, Florida: Sunset Animal Clinic and Hammocks Veterinary Hospital. The role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys mentoring teams, practicing high-quality medicine, driving hospital growth, and building strong relationships with clients and staff. The Medical Director will partner closely with hospital leadership to establish medical excellence across both locations while continuing to practice medicine in a collaborative, supportive environment. The position offers the ability to lead two established hospitals while maintaining a manageable clinical schedule, influencing medical standards, mentoring doctors, growing both teams, and practicing progressive medicine without sacrificing work-life balance.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited veterinary school
• Active (or eligible) Florida veterinary license
• 5+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred
• Previous Medical Director or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, mentorship, and leadership skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Passion for progressive medicine, coaching others, and building high-performing teams
