Desert Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to lead its veterinary team. The clinic has served Yuma, Arizona, for more than 30 years and is a busy, AAHA-accredited hospital with a diverse caseload. The 10,000-square-foot facility has six exam rooms, a CT machine, ultrasound, digital X-ray, in-house labs, a full dental suite, and a surgical laser. Its practice includes general practice, surgery, exotics, orthopedics, and mixed-animal care, with an average of 18–20 patients per day and a support-staff ratio of 3:1. The team is collaborative, teaching-focused, and highly skilled. The Medical Director will lead the team while practicing medicine and surgery with medical autonomy and the support of the clinic’s medical systems, skilled technicians, client service representatives, and leadership. The role is suited to a veterinarian committed to patient care, lasting client relationships, teamwork, and continued growth. Compensation is listed as an annual salary of $250,000–$300,000, depending on experience, plus a production bonus and Medical Director stipend. The package also includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and other benefits described in the posting.
