About The Position

Veterinarian Partners has a bustling practice that offers general and urgent care services in the Cranberry Township area. We are inviting you to join us as an extern. This excellent opportunity will teach students how to practice top-notch medicine, gain valuable hands-on clinical experience, and enrich the lives of patients and clients along the way. Led by one of the top-rated veterinarians in the Pittsburgh area, students will gain real-life, “in the trenches” experience, gather patient information and history, perform physical exams, create treatment plans, diagnostics, and surgical & dentistry services.

Expanded and renovated in 2021 with another expansion under development and planned for completion in 2024!
General and Dental Surgery including DR conventional and Dental X-ray
Ultrasound, Endoscopy, and CT (coming soon!)
Surgical suite equipped with electrocautery and Voyant (similar to ligasure) surgical systems
Radiography, EMR, and flexibility to integrate specialty services
10 exam rooms to offer clients a variety of services including exotics
2.5:1 support staff ratio
Excellent work-life balance with no after-hour or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a veterinary program
