About The Position

Berry Law is a nationally recognized, Veteran-owned law firm dedicated to protecting the rights of Veterans and helping them secure the benefits they earned through their service. We believe great advocacy begins with great legal strategy. Every strategic decision we make has the potential to directly impact a Veteran’s future. If you enjoy solving complex legal problems, analyzing evidence, and making high-quality legal decisions in a fast-paced environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. The Veterans Disability Legal Strategist is a licensed attorney responsible for developing legal strategy for Veterans Disability appeals. This role reviews VA decisions, medical records, military service records, and claims files to determine the strongest legal strategy for each case. Legal Strategists identify evidentiary strengths and weaknesses, select the appropriate appeal path, and provide strategic direction that drives successful outcomes. There is no client contact, no hearings, and no individual client caseload. Instead, attorneys spend the majority of their day reviewing evidence, analyzing legal issues, and making independent legal decisions. Success in this role requires exceptional analytical ability, sound legal judgment, and the ability to make hundreds of accurate legal decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. The ideal candidate enjoys focused, independent work and thrives on evaluating complex issues efficiently without sacrificing quality. This is a largely independent role with remote work opportunities and significant autonomy for high performers.
