This is a contracted appointment that may last up to two years in duration. Paid internships occur throughout the State of Michigan. This position answers and routes multi-line telephone calls to appropriate personnel and takes accurate telephone messages in a timely manner. Maintains a professional manner when working with customers, members of the legislature, executive office, and other departments. Retrieves and compiles data, prepares reports, and operates standard office equipment. Interprets and applies instructions and guidelines to resolve work issues and makes decisions to take appropriate actions. Performs related work as assigned.
