About The Position

Fullsteam is seeking a Vertical Director, Marketing for its Automotive SaaS products. This senior leadership role will oversee the entire go-to-market strategy, including brand, demand generation, customer marketing, and upsell. The ideal candidate is a proven operator from a high-growth B2B SaaS company who can think strategically, execute effectively, and drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth. The role requires balancing competing priorities across a diverse product portfolio serving the automotive industry, ensuring consistent brand positioning and marketing excellence.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with meaningful time in SaaS or software businesses.
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue growth at a high-growth startup (ideally Series B–C stage).
  • Experience leading marketing across multiple products, segments, or business units.
  • Expertise spanning demand generation, customer marketing, brand, and product marketing.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI-powered marketing tools and modern martech stacks (e.g., HubSpot, 6sense, Clay, or similar).
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports in a lean, high-performance environment.
  • A results portfolio showing measurable marketing-to-revenue impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own portfolio-wide marketing strategy, balancing brand consistency with unique product and customer segment needs.
  • Define and lead marketing strategy across all automotive SaaS products.
  • Set clear marketing priorities and resource allocation across the portfolio, aligning with business goals and commercial targets.
  • Serve as the senior marketing voice internally and externally, shaping market positioning.
  • Own pipeline responsibilities and drive revenue outcomes for new logo acquisition and existing customer upsell/expansion.
  • Design and execute demand generation campaigns to produce high-quality ICP engagement, meetings, and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sales to define lead handoffs, optimize conversion, and align on GTM strategy.
  • Leverage intent data, CRM signals, and AI-powered tools to focus marketing efforts.
  • Build and run a customer marketing motion to drive retention, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and develop conversion campaigns.
  • Develop lifecycle programs to deepen customer engagement and reduce churn.
  • Establish marketing operating rhythms, reporting frameworks, and data-driven processes.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and modern martech to maximize output and efficiency.
  • Define and track KPIs connecting marketing activity to business outcomes.
  • Define and maintain a compelling brand narrative for each business unit.
  • Translate complex SaaS capabilities into simple, differentiated messaging.
  • Own content strategy across various formats to build credibility and category presence.
  • Work side-by-side with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership to ensure marketing alignment.
  • Contribute to product marketing, enabling Sales teams with positioning and collateral.
  • Communicate marketing performance and strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
