Veni-Puncture Technician - Full Time- Nights
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Veni-Puncture Technician to work in a fast-paced unit. The technician draws blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians and follows established procedures. The role emphasizes providing patients with comfort, calm, and compassion. Employees are required to be on site, and should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP does not reimburse travel expenses. The scheduled shift is 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., with every other weekend, rotating holidays, and variable weekdays. The stated salary range is $26.06–$27.70 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience.
- Phlebotomy certification from the National Phlebotomy Association.
