About The Position

SHI International Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Management Representative to support the development and execution of SHI's vendor management and procurement lifecycle program. This role plays a key part in maintaining vendor data integrity, supporting performance tracking, and assisting with risk and compliance activities across SHI's extensive vendor ecosystem. Working closely with the Director of Vendor Management and cross-functional teams, the Vendor Management Representative helps ensure vendor relationships are managed efficiently, risks are identified and mitigated, and procurement processes are optimized to support SHI's operational and strategic objectives.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and contribute to effective solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, compliance, or a related function.
  • Familiarity with vendor risk assessment methodologies and procurement processes.
  • Experience with vendor management systems such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding of vendors in accordance with SHI policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track vendor performance, compliance status, and risk indicators.
  • Support the collection and review of vendor due diligence materials, including certifications, financial statements, and security attestations.
  • Identify potential risks and assist with remediation tracking efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline vendor-related workflows and support the implementation of process improvements.
  • Assist in the evaluation and utilization of vendor management tools and procurement platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across vendor management systems.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, and Procurement teams to ensure vendor activities align with SHI's compliance and operational standards.
  • Support the resolution of vendor-related issues, including delivery delays, documentation gaps, and vendor performance concerns.
