About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced car cleaner to clean and maintain rental cars. The role includes vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down vehicle interiors, using air freshener, and following proper procedures for chemical cleaners. The attendant may remove stains from carpets and other interior surfaces, empty trash, drive vehicles as part of the work, monitor building security and safety, and report repair or facility needs to management. The role requires effective communication and compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards. No experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. The position pays $18.42 per hour; the final offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Work locations depend on availability and may include Pasadena, downtown Los Angeles, or West Hollywood.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug test.
• Must work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain rental cars by vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down interiors, and using air freshener.
• Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners to prevent damage.
• Remove stains from carpets and other interior surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions, as needed.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use for potential hazards.
• Drive vehicles while performing cleaning work.
• Notify management about the need for minor or major repairs or facility additions.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
