About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Car Cleaner to provide cleaning and upkeep of rental cars. The role pays $18.42 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Locations depend on availability and may include Pasadena, downtown Los Angeles, and West Hollywood. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., plus weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend shifts are required. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug test.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain rental cars by vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down interiors, and using air freshener.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners to prevent damage.
Remove stains from carpet and other interior surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions, as needed.
Gather and empty trash.
Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use for hazards.
Drive vehicles while performing cleaning work.
Notify management about the need for minor or major repairs or facility additions.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, and others.
Comply with company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
