About The Position

The Vehicle Service Agent services and inspects rental vehicles for customer use, transports vehicles from the service area to customer pick-up locations, maintains gas logs, and keeps the work area clean. The role also involves transporting customers to and from the rental center as required and maintaining the service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Service Supervisor and Location Manager.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work all required shifts.
• Willing to work outside in nearly all weather conditions.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use.
• Review the inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are properly prepared.
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required.
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed.
• Maintain the service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain gas logs and other logs as requested by management.
• Inspect and park cars as directed.
• Perform related duties as required or assigned.
