About The Position

Cox Automotive is hiring a Vehicle Photographer I to capture and process electronic images of vehicles at a specified Cox location. The role includes uploading photographs associated with electronic condition reports (ECRs), checking their quality and accuracy, and arranging re-imaging when photographs do not meet standards. The photographer may also process vehicles through a Photo Booth according to available standard operating procedures if the location has one.

The position requires following and supporting workplace safety and health procedures. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. This position has no remote work option and does not require travel. Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug test; the company states that it does not currently test for marijuana for this position, while prohibiting illegal drugs in the workplace and company vehicles.

The hourly base pay range is $16.63–$24.90. Pay within the range may vary based on location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also be eligible for commission or an incentive program. Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred, or less than two years of related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks and demonstrate manual dexterity.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, and depth perception.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship; OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, and visa sponsorship are not available.

Nice To Haves

• One year of photography experience preferred.
• Experience in digital and computer processing is a plus.
• Basic computer software skills preferred.
• Photography certification or education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload photographs associated with electronic condition reports (ECRs) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
• Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
• Re-image or request re-imaging of substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth according to available standard operating procedures when the location is equipped with one.
• Follow safety and health procedures and model safe behaviors.
• Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
