About The Position

Naturescape is hiring a Vehicle Fleet & Small Engine Mechanic in Burnsville, Minnesota, to maintain and repair its fleet of vehicles and small-engine equipment. The mechanic works alongside a team of mechanics to keep a high-volume fleet across 41 locations operational. The work includes commercial mowers and blowers, vans, and pickup trucks, covering routine maintenance, engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and annual safety inspections. The mechanic uses a tablet with custom-built asset management software to track inventory, log repairs, and manage incoming service requests. Work takes place in a fast-paced, high-output shop equipped with lifts and specialty tools. Employees provide their own primary toolbox. The mechanic collaborates with other mechanics and the Fleet Manager, sharing technical knowledge and developing skills through peer-to-peer learning. Requirements

Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Basic understanding of automotive and small-engine mechanics, including brakes, engines, and diagnostics.
Provide a standard set of personal tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Motivation and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair the company's fleet of vehicles and small-engine equipment.
