Vehicle Equipment Installer

About The Position
We are seeking a full-time, first-shift Vehicle Equipment Installer to assist in building and installing components in custom vehicles. The role also involves installing lift gates and junction boxes for tail lights on specialty vehicles.
Requirements
- Must be willing to work on a creeper under a vehicle.
- Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with power tools, wiring, and measuring is desired; training may be available for the right candidates.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and vehicle specifications.
- Install components for 12-volt and 120/240-volt applications on custom vehicles, including generators, batteries, leveling systems, fuel-based heaters, power converters, isolators, alternators, and rooftop AC units.
- Perform diagnostic tests and write accurate reports at final inspection.
- Work on a creeper under a vehicle to install cables, fuel lines, exhaust, and other equipment.
- Install lift gates and junction boxes for tail lights on specialty vehicles.
