About The Position

Summit Fleet in Williston, North Dakota, is seeking a dependable on-call driver to transport vehicles and packages between company yards and customers. The driver safely delivers vehicles to customers and returns them to their assigned yard in a timely and professional manner. This position has no guaranteed minimum hours; drivers may decline a shift when unavailable. Summit Fleet is part of Kaizen Automotive Group, which operates across the United States and Canada. Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
Available to be on call; there are no guaranteed minimum hours, and unavailable shifts may be declined.
Maintain a high degree of professionalism and customer service.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to drive for 5–6 hours with minimal stops.
Able to frequently get in and out of a truck bed without difficulty or fatigue.
No more than two minor moving violations in the last year.
No more than three minor moving violations in the last three years.
No major or serious violations in the last five years.
No SR22 or other financial responsibility filing.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Transport vehicles and/or packages safely and efficiently between destinations.
Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays to arrive on schedule.
Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
Interact professionally with clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
Complete vehicle inspection reports and take pictures of vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and mechanically sound before delivery, meeting company standards for client use.
Communicate vehicle damage or issues to the service advisor or branch manager.
Document fuel receipts.
Support additional operational tasks or special projects as assigned by branch leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
