About The Position

Summit Fleet is seeking a dependable on-call driver to transport and deliver vehicles between company yards and customers. The role involves safely delivering vehicles to customers and returning them to their assigned yard in a timely and professional manner. Summit Fleet is part of Kaizen Automotive Group, which operates across the United States and Canada and emphasizes continuous improvement, employee development, and collaboration.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Must be available on call; there are no guaranteed minimum hours. If unavailable when called, the driver may decline the work.
High degree of professionalism and customer service.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to drive for 5–6 hours with minimal stops.
Ability to frequently get in and out of a truck bed without difficulty or fatigue.
No more than two minor moving violations in the last year.
No more than three minor moving violations in the last three years.
No major or serious violations in the last five years.
No SR22 or other financial responsibility filing.
Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

Transport vehicles and/or packages safely and efficiently between destinations.
Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays to arrive on schedule.
Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
Interact professionally with clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
Complete vehicle inspection reports and take pictures of vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and mechanically sound, and meet company standards before delivery.
Communicate vehicle damage or issues to the service advisor or branch manager.
Document fuel receipts.
Support additional operational tasks or special projects as assigned by branch leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
