About The Position

This role is responsible for accurately inputting vehicle information into the AS400 system, affixing identification stickers, and directing transporters. The specialist will also ensure data protection by removing personal information from vehicles and resetting navigation systems. Additionally, the role involves supporting facility and equipment maintenance, adhering to safety procedures, and assisting with operational duties as assigned, including driving vehicles on sale days.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
Valid driver’s license required.
Basic computer skills required.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana testing may not be administered for this position, but it is a drug-free workplace).
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Responsibilities

Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, and options.
Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrival.
Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
Identify and flag “no key” vehicles.
Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones.
Inspect and report transport damage as required.
Provide proper sale identification windshield codes.
Remove and clear all personal information from vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable items.
Reset or remove navigation system data (addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.).
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security.
Perform basic fit tunnel maintenance, including keeping the area clean and organized, reporting equipment issues, and assisting with routine upkeep.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
Support Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activities.
Assist with additional operational duties as assigned, including driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.
